Scott Christopherson led all scorers with 30 points, including a three-point dagger in the final minute, as Iowa State defeated Iowa 75-72 Friday night in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Iowa State (8-2) garnered its first win in Iowa City since 2002, and became the first road team to claim victory in the series since 2003.

Diante Garrett scored nine points in a decisive 22-6 Iowa State run to begin the second half, as the Cyclones broke open a tight game en route to a 81-59 win over Montana State Saturday afternoon in Hilton Coliseum.

The Iowa State Cyclones season ended with a 14-0 loss to a tough Missouri Tigers team. The Cyclones end the season at 5-7 (3-5) and finish one win short of bowl eligibility.

Jamie Vanderbeken drained a 35 footer at the buzzer to give Iowa State a 91-88 win over the Creighton Blue Jays at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Iowa State is now 4-0 on the season.
The Cyclones will take on Kennesaw State this Wednesday at Hilton Coliseum.

The Iowa State Cyclones and Colorado Buffaloes met for their final Big 12 football game last Saturday. The Buffs won the game handily 34-14. Iowa State (5-6, 3-4) will need a victory at home this Saturday over #15 Missouri (8-2, 5-2) to become bowl eligible. The game kicks off at 6 pm, the team needs you…..let’s Pack the Jack!

Fred Hoiberg made his debut as ISU’s head basketball coach in an exhibition game against Dubuque. Several other Cyclones made their debut as well on the new floor in Hilton Coliseum.
The Iowa State Cyclones doubled up the Spartans 100-50.

The Iowa State Cyclones and Nebraska Cornhuskers met for their final Big 12 football game last Saturday. It was a game that fans will remember for a long time to come, unfortunately the Cyclones came out on the short end of the contest. The Huskers won 31-30 in overtime when Daniel Kuehl’s pass was intercepted in the endzone on a fake extra point attempt. Iowa State (5-5) will attempt to become bowl eligible again this week when they travel to 3-6 Colorado this Saturday

The Iowa State Cyclones started slow, but put away the Kansas Jayhawks with a 21 point 3rd quarter. Iowa State won the game 28-16, with the win the Cyclones improved to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the Big 12. Iowa State faces a tough Nebraska squad in a battle for Big 12 North supremacy Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
