Iowa State didn't have enough to beat #24 Texas A&M at Hilton Coliseum
No. 24 Texas A&M held off a late Iowa State rally to record a 60-56 victory over the Cyclones Saturday afternoon in Hilton Coliseum.
ISU, which drops to 13-14 overall and 2-10 in the Big 12, could not overcome another poor shooting night, making a season-low 32.2 percent of its shots from the floor. It was the fifth-straight game where ISU failed to shoot 40 percent from the floor.
