Laron Dendy and his Cyclone teammates were overmatched by a talented Jayhawk squad
Cole Aldrich and Marcus Morris tallied 19 and 16 points, respectively, to pace No. 3 Kansas to an 84-61 victory over Iowa State Saturday afternoon in Hilton Coliseum.
The Cyclones held a brief lead midway through the first half, but the Jayhawks went on a 25-11 run to close the half and ISU never seriously threatened again. ISU, which falls to 12-7 overall and 1-3 in Big 12 play, was led by Marquis Gilstrap, who tallied his fourth-straight double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
