LaRon Dendy throws down a big dunk in the home opener
The Iowa State Cyclones are 2-0 on the young basketball season after beating Idaho State and Chicago State over the weekend. Three newcomers are making an immediate impact on this ball club. Laron Dendy led the Cyclones over Idaho State on Friday with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Dendy sat out the Chicago State game after spraining his knee in practice on Saturday. Marquis Gilstrap cleaned the glass against Chicago State with a team high 15 rebounds. Scott Christopherson was in double figures in both games.
