The Iowa State Cyclones fell just short again this week, losing by a score of 42-35 in Lubbock. The game was still in question until Deon Broomfield had Cole Netten’s onside kick go through his hands with 1:54 to play. Baylor recovered the ball on that kick and then ran out the remaining time on the clock. Jarvis West was the star of the game for ISU, returning a kick 95 yards for a TD and accumulating 177 all-purpose yards.
