Big 12 Football – Power Rankings (Week Two)
1. Texas (2-0) – (Texas 41 Wyoming 10 ) – The Longhorns look for revenge this week against a Red Raiders team that kept them out of the Championship game last year.
2. Oklahoma (1-1) – (Oklahoma 64 Idaho St 0) – Someone had to pay for the week one loss to BYU, it was the Bengals from Idaho State….OUCH!
3. Texas Tech (2-0) – (Texas Tech 55 Rice 10) – Opportunity for the Red Raiders to jump to the top of the Big 12 rankings with win in Austin this week
4. Kansas (2-0) – (Kansas 34 UTEP 7) – Nice win for the Jayhawks on the road
5. Missouri (2-0) – (Missouri 27 Bowling Green 20) – We’ll keep Mizzou one spot ahead of Nebraska despite last weeks struggle, the Huskers haven’t played anyone yet
6. Nebraska (2-0) – (Nebraska 38 Arkansas State 9) – Preseason is over, Nebraska travels to Blacksburg to take on the Hokies of VT this Saturday
7. Oklahoma State (1-1) – (Houston 45 Oklahoma State 35) – Okie State didn’t drop too far in the national rankings after a loss at home, they drop from 2 to 7 in ours
8. Baylor (1-0) – (Off) – UConn travels to Baylor this week for what should be a good matchup
9. Texas A&M (1-0) (Off) – Schedule gets tougher next week when the Aggies travel to Houston
10. Iowa State (1-1) (Iowa 35 Iowa State) – Iowa state got pummelled, but they still move up a spot with a bad Colorado loss
11. Kansas State (1-1) (Louisiana Lafayette 17 Kansas State 15) – Why did the Wildcats schedule a road game with Louisiana Lafayette?
12. Colorado (0-2) (Toledo 54 Colorado 38) – We think Dan Hawkins meant to guarantee 10 losses
