1. Texas (3-0) – (Texas 34 Texas Tech 24) – Colt McCoy was shaky (1 TD, 2 INT) but the Longhorns came out with a win
2. Oklahoma (2-1) – (Oklahoma 45 Tulsa 0) – Two straight shutouts for the Sooners, Landry Jones tossed 6 TD passes
3. Kansas (3-0) – (Kansas 44 Duke 16) – The Jayhawks slide up another spot this week
4. Missouri (3-0) – (Missouri 52 Furman 12) – Mizzou plays Nevada on ESPN Thursday night
5. Nebraska (2-1) – (Virginia Tech 16 Nebraska 15) – The Cornhuskers let a huge road win at VT slip away
6. Texas Tech (2-1) – (Texas 34 Texas Tech 24) – The Red Raiders played tough in a loss at Austin, they travel this week to #17 Houston
7. Oklahoma State (2-1) – (Oklahoma State 41 Rice 24) – The Cowboys were outgained by the Owls in the victory
8. Texas A&M (2-0) – (Texas A&M 38 Utah State 30) – Warning signs – the Aggies gave up 521 yards and committed 16 penalties
9. Baylor (1-1) – (UConn 30 Baylor 22) – The loss to the Huskies put a damper on Baylor’s bowl hopes
10. Iowa State (2-1) – (Iowa State 34 Kent State 14) – Much needed road win for the Cyclones
11. Kansas State (1-2) – (UCLA 23 Kansas State 9) – Decent performance on the road for the Wildcats limiting the Bruins to mostly FG’s
12. Colorado (1-2) – (Colorado 24 Wyoming 0) – Nice bounce back performance by Colorado for their first win
