5. Oklahoma (2-2) – (Miami 21 Oklahoma 20) – Sam Bradford returns with the Sooners national championship hopes crushed (Baylor)
6. Oklahoma State (3-1) – (idle) – The Cowboys travel to College Station in a game that should be a shootout – pun intended (at Texas A&M)
7. Texas Tech (3-2) – (Texas Tech 48 New Mexico 28) – Steven Sheffield replaced an injured Taylor Potts and threw for 3 scores (Kansas State)

11. Iowa State (3-2) – (Kansas State 24 Iowa State 23) – The Cyclones were up big last year on the Jayhawks, but blew the lead in the second half (at Kansas)
12. Colorado (1-3) – (West Virginia 35 Colorado 24) – Noel Devine (22 carries, 220 yards) was too much for the Buffs, this week could be really UGLY (at Texas)
