Iowa visits Ames Sunday to battle the Cyclones who proved they are the top team in the country by beating former top dog Minnesota. The hype is big with a sellout ‘half-crowd’ at Hilton Coliseum and in this series, anything can happen.
Iowa will be without returning national champion Mark Perry due to suspension, and Iowa’s loss should be Iowa State’s gain. Iowa State Freshman Jon Reader was set to wrestle Perry, but instead will face Freshman Jake Kerr.
